Nothing has been easy in my life. Some people say that other people are cowards, but I am the one who thinks you shouldn’t say that, if you haven’t lived what others have lived. If sometimes you have seen me with my head down, it is not because I want to, it is because there are many things that make me feel bent over. However, to have lived in an orphanage taught me to take courage in many things even though sometimes I felt like I couldn’t do anything. I knew that I had many things in front of me that I had to reach. To tell you the truth, when I was a child sometimes I thought that I wouldn’t have a good future.

I didn’t expect this opportunity to be here at TLC, but I think TLC and the orphanage are the places that have been encouraging me to keep moving to reach my future. I have many things to be grateful for. In reality, not everybody has the desire to keep studying, but when we know that it is the only chance we have to study, we try to keep going and work hard.

For example, when I was in the orphanage I kept thinking about going back to my family. But then I got this opportunity to study at TLC and I didn’t want to throw it away. When God has something for us, it is because he knows that we can do it. Sometimes I think about this question: Could I help my family if I were with them? Maybe I would be able to do it, or maybe not. But how? If I threw away God’s opportunity that he has given me, then maybe I would not be able to help my family if I only did the things that I wanted. But you know, God’s plans are better than ours. When God has something for you, nobody can destroy it because God has a good plan for your life.

You can see God’s example’s throughout God’s plans…why? Because all of us have experienced difficult moments. Sometimes we may not want to be around people because we don’t want to make them feel bad. The things you have been experiencing will determine how you deal with the people around you. Not everyone has the same experiences right? So don’t allow the bad things to make you feel like you cannot do anything because we have strong hearts and strong minds, and we can do it! We can learn many things from our experiences. For me, I learned how to draw near to God when I experience difficult things. Remember, not everything is easy, but nothing is impossible.
